Seniors Rod Vincent Pramis and Kimberly Monreal silenced chess rivals as they leaned on their four elements and tactics of strategies to post a score of 5 and 3.5 points for first and second place respectively triumph to Finals of Quezon National High School Acala Sports Complex, June 27.

Pramis hacked out five consecutive victories and stayed unscathed in the Final match against Monreal for the Championship to rule as the undefeated chess player of the QNHS Intramurals.

Meanwhile Monreal settled for second place after falling short against Pramis with only 36 moves.

On the other hand, Grade 8 Tiger Alekhine Abaracia registered 11.5 points after losing against Monreal to make on her way to the third place.

Pramis, Monreal and Abaracia booked ticket to the Congressional Meet at Dolores, Quezon on September 19.
