Another year, another school year has arrive. Tons of school works and struggle to face and also, a lot of things to pay. Just this early November, payments for CR Fee, School Publication, Film Viewing has already faced by the students. What worse is that these payments are being mandatory when I twas supposed to be voluntary. The students can’t pay all of them with only one click because of other important things to pay and accomplish. Thanks to our family who still manage to pay all the bills and other miscellaneous inside the campus.
Voluntary contribution must remain Voluntary. We must not force our students to pay for something that we can’t. We have different levels of state in our life. Basically, it is not easy for some students to pay for these school contribution. Even on
e’s family is now complaining about this tons of payments for it is already too much.
Let’s also add the film viewing for students that cost a hundred and fifty pesos in exchange of additional grades. The students will do an “extra-hard” activity in exchange of not watching the film and buying the ticket. Isn’t it unfair for other students who can’t afford it?
Imagine, there’s a lot of students here in our campus and the payment of half of them can already help for our school activities. Besides we students still need to keep and save money. Where’s the justice?
Let us all be wise. Let us think of out fellow students who can’t afford these voluntary contribution. Let us all be fair, not all people gas the same financial that we have. Sad to say but there are really unimportant payments that we need to pay but we are forced to do so. Be considerate, fairness is a must.
The bottomline is that voluntary contribution must not be mandatory and let it remain as voluntary. Repect the students and their decision with regards of these payments.
